How To Report a Repair

Alternatively please complete the online form (click on the 'Report a Repair' button on the right of this page.

Please provide the following details:

  • Your name, address and telephone number
  • A description of the repair required - provide as much detail as possible to ensure the correct and effective repair is instructed.
  • A time for access - This should be either a morning (until 1.00 p.m.) or afternoon (after 1.00 p.m.) appointment as it is not always possible to arrange for contractors to arrive at specific times.

If you have made an access arrangement and you are not going to be at home you must inform the Association in advance so that abortive calls and unnecessary costs are minimised.

  • Carbon Monoxide

To report loss of water contact Scottish Water on 0845 600 8855

To report loss of electricity contact Scottish Power on 0845 27 27 999

To report road & lighting faults contact RALF on 0800 37 36 35

To report close & backcourt lighting faults contact City Building on 0800 595 595

What is an Emergency Repair? 

An emergency repair is a repair which if not carried out could threaten the health or safety of the tenant, or could cause serious damage to the building e.g. gas leaks, flooding or electrical faults which may be dangerous.

If an emergency situation arises outwith office hours, i.e. after 5:00 p.m., at weekends or on Public Holidays you should contact the out of hours Emergency Repairs Service on Freephone 08000 921 961. 

If you struggle to reach our out of hours service on the above number please call City Technical on 0333-202-0708 for all emergency heating and hot water repairs or City Building on 0800-595-595 for all other emergencies.

The Emergency Repair Service should be called out in the event of an Emergency Only.

It is vitally important that access is available for emergency repairs to be carried out.  If access is unavailable on such occasions the Association has the right to force entry in order to avoid endangering residents and  the proprties
